Power Button Question

A newbie question that I don't see covered anywhere in the manual.
I was at my PC with my Iconia charging along side me when I noticed the power button going from orange to white and back and forth every few minutes.
At first I thought the white light meant the battery was fully charged but I checked and it shows 98% and then it went back to orange again.
Can someone explain what the colors mean.

I let mine completely die, (battery wise) and then charged it. It was orange originally, then white when fully charged. I didn't notice it switching colors back and forth.

White means it's fully charged. Orange means it's taking a charge.This is while it's plugged into the charger.

If your tab is on, it'll be white, and until it goes to sleep. If you push it real quickly,(while on),it will drop to sleep mode with no white button.

I would suspect that in your case, the tab was in sleep mode, but maybe Wifi or notification checking caused a minor drop in battery power, whereas the charging lite would come on for a couple of minutes.

Thanks, after a while it did go white and stay white so it must have been something like wifi checking that was causing the blips.
