I am also disappointed with this purchase, I have the Powermat and PowerCube(back up battery). Thank God it was a gift. I would not recommend this purchase. First , the bulky usb cover required for charging disallows you from being able to have attach a protective Otterbox cover. Second, the usb clip is wired. When using th PowerCube(back up battery) is requires you to remove the clip to charge, causing wear and tear on the wire. I called Powermat before purchasing the cube and they stated they will replace it. Okay. But just as I thought after 5 months it broke. Turn around time to replace is 2-4 weeks. Therefore I have to recharge my phone with original provided phone charger. Not good. I find myself doing this anyway. So why do I need a PowerMat?
The Cons definately outweight the Pro's with this product. Especially, when customer service agent states PowerMat is not addressing these issues. Therefore, convienance and construction are poor. Also, adaptibility for protective cases are poor.
I will sell mine on Ebay and buy a simple second battery for my phone.
