I wouldn't feel as bad if on trade in the extra specs made a difference. It seems like all OEMs are getting away from that. I'm trading in a 512GB Ceramic S10+ and that has the same value as a regular S10. Lucky I got it for around the same price as regular S10+.Jokes aside, I’ll be perfectly fine with base model. 128 GB is plenty enough for me since i rely on cloud storage and 12 GB RAM is sufficient for the amount of time i keep this phone anyway. It just sucks at $1400 Samsung is putting 128 GB base and doesn’t feel right. I’m thinking another $200 with 512 GB and 16 GB RAM to be more justifiable cost? I don’t know I’m feeling if I’m paying that much i might as well go all in and get the top most spec. It's like the Apple model, make the base model not so desirable so that you are tempted to upgrade to next tier.
Even Apple didn't give extra credit for double memory on an iPhone X towards an 11 pro
