Just called my store, I inquired about it like a new customer

He just got my number and gave me his number and said Ill receive a call when it comes out and be one of the first to know, and to call him directly if I need any help.

Ill call again on Wednesday

I just hope it comes out on Friday - I have the day off to recover from work holiday party hangover so I can be first in line when Verizon opens at 9 a.m. or 10 a.m. depending which store I go to. I just called the one store and the guy knew what the phone was but said he had no details yet about when it was coming out other than kinda soon.

It's Dec 5 and I'm surprised we still haven't heard anything but I read this is normal for VZW.

'Tis normal. For those that were looking at the TBolt, Verizon announced on a Tuesday (3/15) for the release on Thursday (3/17). So, that was only 2-days. And I think other phones may have had the announcement the day of (or not at all).

Ok guys...no BS here. After seeing the posts, I decided to call my area stores.

I just called four stores in my area. The first one, the manager answered and took my name and number and said she'll give me a call when it comes in next week. The next two were stores gave me the company line, "we haven't received an official release date." Now, the last guy was awesome. He first said that he thought the release date would be next week. I asked if he had a list going and he said no, but he'll start one for me. He asked me to hold, then came back and said, "between you and I, I just received the email and it's going to be released on Friday." I made an appointment on Friday at 9 am!!!! SWEEEEEET!!!!

Hopefully these emails start circulating to the stores in the Baltimore area. They don't seem to think it'll be out on the 9th at all. I'll say one thing, though; if you guys get that phone before the rest of us just based on location....then you're f'ing lucky.

That's awesome dude!! I cannot wait to hand this 9930 over to my wife (she is a DIEHARD - technophobe who loves her blackberry). Here's to a new toy soon!!!

Called my two stores in Passaic County, NJ and they both said they had no info at this time - even when I followed up asking about holding a phone for me for Friday. They said they can't make a list for a phone that they don't have a release date for.

I have Friday off, as well as a few others posting here. I just plan to walk into a corp store sometime during the day while I'm running around doing errands and see if I strike pay-dirt.

If not, then there's always next week

Mainly because it is too easy to troll people on here with misinformation. I'm sure at this point, most are still taking all of this "info" with a grain of salt.

Exactly. I'll believe it when I get the same response from the stores around here. I live in a highly-populated area and no one here seems to know when this thing is coming out.

Its slowly getting to stores. Info wise.

I posted a place on my homestore call them.

I'm not asking anyone to believe anything. If its here Friday then its here if not then I know I will be raising hell for calling me and wasting my time going there.

Some stores and some peeps here also verify they did the same. Some called 2 stores with no info then called a 3rd one and they have or just received info about it.
I don't usually post here alot.

I'm not getting or trying to get into peoples skin cause I'm jist as excited and bummed out as you if its not here.

Not saying you're lying, man. I spoke to a woman at that location and she did say they were notified that the 9th was the date. She did also mention it was tentative, but seemed pretty sure they'd see it there on Friday. I'm hoping that same word trickles it's way down here to Baltimore, MD.
