Pre-Orders/Stores that Confirm Availability

I bought the DX at launch also and have been eligible for an upgrade since July. Do they not honor yearly upgrades in store?

As far as I know they don't but correct me if I'm wrong.
It seems like people on the phone could do way mmore than the peeps at a store location unless you can make the phone rep call the actual store and do it that way but I could be wrong so.
Mine was always through a phone rep everytine I get a early upgrade or what not. I never have good chance doing it on a store lvl.

Sounds like that store is doing Saturday for sure, I've been on his ass for a while now and this is the first he's said anything at all about it. He was always quick to say "you'll prolly know before we do" before today. He always said he'll let me know when he gets a for sure date and sure enough, this is the first time he texted me. He did call last week to say he'd be calling me this week tho, but he prolly just knew it'd be this week but not the day.

I just called about 3 Verizon stores in the South Jersey area (Toms River specifically) and 2 of the 3 had no date to give. The one store said it will be released on the 8th to be sold on the 9th. I will be glad to give up this somewhat horrid Inc2. I would have actually been keen to keep it however the call volume is low using AOSP roms and the camera is awful. The Inc1 is a better phone despite the Inc2's better screen.

I just got the call also. A rep who called me about a month ago from Mt Zion, GA store called to tell me Nexus would be available Friday. She called me about a month ago to see if I was ready to upgrade. I told her then I was waiting on the Nexus, so she called me back this evening to let me know it was available.

She wasn't sure about pricing on it yet. She didn't have access to that info, but said she would look for it and text it to me.

I just got the call also. A rep who called me about a month ago from Mt Zion, GA store called to tell me Nexus would be available Friday. She called me about a month ago to see if I was ready to upgrade. I told her then I was waiting on the Nexus, so she called me back this evening to let me know it was available.

She wasn't sure about pricing on it yet. She didn't have access to that info, but said she would look for it and text it to me.

299 is the latest price map I've seen recently and i don't see why it wouldn't be.

Just called the store that our company gets all the phones from, and I got the cookie cutter response ...

"We have no idea until about 2 days before the launch, if you leave me your name and number, then I will put you on 'the list.'"

That's what I expected, but I thought I would give it a shot anyways.

Yeah, that makes the most sense. I just recalled seeing something not too long ago showing it might be at $200. But that one never made sense next to the Razr and Rezound.

I'm just wondering if I should snag it now, which is what I really really want to do. Or try to wait a bit to see if it pops up at Amazon or BestBuy on the cheap. How long do these places usually wait before selling at discount? What's the best move?
