I called 2 Verizon Stores in my area and they both said the launch has been delayed and do not know when it will be available but it will be before christmas

Christmas needs to come early!!!

You've got to be kidding me, are you serious? How in the heck do you get this^ from what I said. I said it didn't seem like it was a friggin NATIONWIDE outage for 4g subscribers, it seemed like regional issues over different areas. I called friends and family all over this wonderful land land mass I live on and no one had any problems so it seem alot more isolated than nationwide. I've used 16gb of data in the past 24hrs and have yet to expeirience any fluctuation. That's all I was pointing out, nothing more & if anything less. I thank you, though, I found this comical.

to be fair it was NATIONWIDE. Just didn't effect each and every user. Verizon confirmed this.

went by a store yesterday and a rep was playing with it so I got to play with it.... its awesome cannot wait and they said it had been delayed and speculated it was because of the 4g outage. also they had 30 in stock....

It was crazy mine was out all the way but my wife could get 3g then she lost that. I have friends in NY out and my family in TX out and my cousin in HI was down so yep I would say nation wide covered it.

My local store in Birmingham says they can sell them tomorrow. They have a "box" of them in, according to the rep. I'll try back this evening and see if they got the go ahead to release it today, if not, I'll try in the morning.

Keep in mind every single one of those dates are rumored. Verizon hasn't released a date as to not break any promises. All they have said is by the end of the year. People are all up in arms because they keep missing release dates that were "discovered" by talking to a guy that knows a guy.

I'm not defending Verizon for not having the phone out yet. They're a buisness and have their reasons, but it sucks for the minority of users (us who use forums and search daily for a solid release date) that want this phone.
