Predictions: When will the Sprint GNex be released?

I was only 10 months into my contract so it cost me $165 to buy out. I figure the phone will be $200 with 2 year upgrade so I will be paying $365 rather than $550-600 outright like I was planning on doing.

Also pro-tip with there buyout you can also do green buy back program and get what ever your phone is worth back as credit. Atm the evo3d is 99.00.. so effectively the 165 would be 66 dollars + new contract.

you can usually get much better price on craigslist. the evo 3d should still sell for over 200 easily.

I think the Original EVO for their green program is $90. I think that's a reasonable price. Plus less hassle with Craigslist. Can't wait until the GNex is released!

90 for og evo is reasonable, but 99 for evo 3d seems a lil low.

Well considering the shape of my evo 3d. Power button broken, screen digitizer issues, jacked USB port.. to get 200 someone would be stupid. So 100 to sprint broken or not is easier then dealing with conflict with others on Craigslist.

Had my contract buyout conversation and transaction with Sprint yesterday.
Checked online today and it shows my number is now eligible for the $150.00 upgrade. :D

All we need now is the phone. Tick. Tick. Tick.
Just over a week. Can't wait.

Again, if anyone hits up a Sprint store, or anywhere else, and you see Galaxy Nexus signs, info, etc, take some pics and let us know.
Thanks.

Mav.

I should expect some sort of email from sprint tommorow, which you sign up for on sprints website.

there always someone dumb enough to buy it for 200. haha, jk. well, i personally has a ns4g should be able to sell it for at least 150, it's in great shape. is there a link to check how much my phone would worth for sprint buy back program?

i just check online also, it seems like i can upgrade to a new phone already. sprint is working on this pretty fast.

When I do get the Nexus, I'll wanna see if they'll give me any kind of incentive for switching to Sprint from T-Mobile. Any tips? The catch is I'll be adding a line to an existing plan that I'll share with the segment of my family that uses their phones a lot. Also, how do you get that $50 Best Buy credit for buying a new phone?

I'll be passing 2 Sprint locations tomorrow. One is a mall kiosk that seems better staffed and informed. The other is in a strip mall, so better chance for posters, but their nearly invisible location, I think, results in low traffic, causing them to have a smaller, less-informed staff. I'll try to get some pics if there's anything to see.

They took the video down and just reuploaded it. Looks to be the same.

There's also a LG Viper video now:

$100-125 port-in credit, and phones can be cheaper with new lines (usually through third-party retailers.)

I need help with the buy out program. I have the evo3d from that launch day and I want to get the nexus next Sunday. How much will it cost me to buy out my contract ?

I was also hoping to complain about the lack of wimax in my area and paying 10$ a month for it for 2 years and now its canceled .. see what they say about an upgrade.

The $10 fee has nothing to do with Wimax. Even non 4G capable phones have to pay the $10 fee. It is applies to all smartphones.

Either way I plan on complaining about Wimax. The EVO 4g was the first phone to get the 10$ charge. Call it what you want

just call customer service. tell them you want to do the buy out program. then they will transfer you to a different rep that can handle it. they then will check your acct and see if you are eligible, give you a price if you are. I was told it works take about 24-48 to set up, but actually took about 30 min. I found out it was done thru checking the upgrade phone option on the sprint site.
