I bought an evo on contract (launch day) and my upgrade is April 1st also. I think that's the best time to launch a new device.

Im willing to wait. I like my cheap monthly Sprint bill with unlimited voice/text/data with no surprises. No way do i want to get raped by Verizon or AT&T every month. I like not having to worry about big surprise bills. Pick your carrier first. Then pick your phone. Sprint offers the best value bar none. Leave and you might regret it. Good luck.

Early April Release date sounds about right.

With hints coming out today of an April release for the Galaxy SIII Sprint would probably launch the Nexus early April and then the SIII around June. And also rumors of the HTC One coming to Sprint probably around mid Summer also.

Has anyone had any experience with Sprint and their rates to jump up your upgrade date?
In other words, you can pay Sprint to move up the date of your phone upgrade.
Is there a certain amount per month or something?

My upgrade date is September 1st so I was wondering on how much it would cost for me to move that up to May 1st, for example.

Any info and tips would be greatly appreciated.

Call and ask. I've witnessed someone going to best buy, getting ready to activate their phone (nexus s), the best buy guy calls sprint and asks them if there's anything they can do about this. Sprint gives him the upgrade. It doesn't hurt to ask, be polite, be persistent with these guys.
