Preinstalled Amazon App

My phone came with Amazon preinstalled and I constantly get notifications saying there is an Amazon update available. But every time I go to download and install it, it says it wasn't installed. Really frustrating and annoying because it just keeps coming back at random times. Anyone else have this issue before?

There's a recent thread...the trick is to enable the allow apps from unknown sources, update Audible, and then they'll go. Then go back and disable the allow apps thing. You have to hate proprietary crap that doesn't work...about to make me do what Rodger did and just dump them from the phone.

Crazy how they screw with the operations of your phone just to make sure you have all of their apps. Ridiculous...thanks for the info!
