Preordered, but was given no date??

Got my preorder for the Note 3 from an AT&T corporate store today. Did an upgrade (not early), and the cost came out around $320 after taxes (not bad considering I sold my Note 2 for $400). I was told I could pick it up in-store when it releases. However, the associate didn't give me a concrete release date; "sometime in October" she said. I know AT&T's websites say preorders will ship "on or around Oct 1" for Note 3's. Does that mean corporate stores will be getting them in on October 1st? Does anyone know?

All AT&T corporate stores should have them on Oct 1 -2.
