So it appears that we, as posters here, are polarized.

On one side is the "VZW screwed this up! We want it now! VZW owes us an explanation!" crowd who believes everything they read regarding supposed leaks.

The other side seems to be favoring logic, reason and patience while realizing that it's just a phone.

It would be interesting to see how the sides compare in terms of age.

Product launches get delayed all the time.

Not when the product has already been available in Europe for almost two weeks and we still dont have a release date yet. I mean many times the products are both given release dates and they will tell us that "hey EU will get their product 11/17 and USA will get theirs xx/yy.

Whats happening here is just ridiculous and the lack of communication with their consumers can in my eyes be equated to a serious lack of respect.

I'm starting to feel a little like Linus waiting out there in the pumpkin patch for the Great Pumpkin to arrive.

I don't think it's unreasonable to vent a little bit about the phone being available in other countries with not even an announcement date by the exclusive U.S. carrier. Is it unreasonable to actually blame Verizon or accuse them of misconduct? Maybe so.

What this says is that Google needs to stop giving exclusivity on its Nexus phones. Carriers should be fighting to get these things out first, not sitting on them.

If you feel disrespected by VZW or Google or Samsung for not having a date for you. Well then it might be time to get the iPhone on ATT. Show them that you wont tolerate this ridiculous silence. Go on do it. 0_0

no i am new to this. my DX is in shambles and i really feel like its holding on until the day the Gnex drops. at that point this phone will most likely just turn into dust.


also I hate apple and cant wait to use the gnex. Like i said i'm new to this but that doesn't mean that I cant feel entitled to hear one word from the company I have paid countless dollars to..

I agree w/ the sentiment but I can see why the other US carriers aren't chomping at the bit about the GN. They already have at least one comparably, spec'd SGII variant in stock that will recieve ICS in the relatively near future. Which would have a good shots at stealing shine from the GN, in short fashion.

If you go back and add up how much you've paid them I am sure you could get an accurate amount. So it isn't really countless.

Exactly. Hell, wasn't that one of the original ideas of the Nexus? Google is making a huge mistake playing this exclusivity game. Apple realized they were doing it and started pushing g out to other carriers
