Just think; we all can take solace in the fact that once we get our Nexi (sp), we can laugh at the next group of people who have to wait on a phone like this. The only thing that I can think of that's been worse is for people who were early adopters of the Bionic. The phone was supposed to launch, got delayed for months, launched, was terrible, and then got replaced by the Razr a month or two down the road. They got f'ed on that one. Makes me feel better about waiting a month or so for a phone like this.

Funny thing - I like what the BIONIC should be (maybe more than Nexus); however, I'm not feeling any love with my buggy BIONIC. And what's with the rules all machines K-rap? I have to reboot multiple times because some of my apps disappear after a reboot. You are so right - I got F'ed on this deal. Wish I had waited for NEXUS.

<snicker> And then there's the VZW fanboy club which believes the company can do no wrong.

VZW has clear phone calls (give them credit) but they have done so much wrong in my eyes: LG Dare, STORM and now the BIONIC. The list includes only the phones I've had. The BIONIC could come off this list if they would release a massive firmware upgrade that corrects multiple issues...but I'm not sure why anyone could feel VZW can do no wrong. I do not think I will buy another phone on day one - VZW has burned me the last time.

Good thing I completely ignore rumors. I slept like a champ, worry free, and continue to wait it out. It will be out this year. Only 32 days left. The more you continue to hang on to every baseless rumor out there. The more disappointment you add to your life.

What facts are you relying on? You're trying to make their anger at this being a messed up launch look stupid by pointing out that Verizon "never gave a release date" and they said it would come out "before the end of the year". While true, anyone who knows anything about wireless or even Verizon in general knows this has been botched for quite awhile, for reasons we can't be 100% sure on.

To be honest, and I've said this quite a few times already, you're not making yourself look any better by spending your time calling some of these people 'whiners'. They're upset they don't have the phone in hand. Get over it. We're on the same page because I'm not mad nor am I whining about this launch, but I'm also not being a giant tool and getting mad at those that are getting mad because its their right to be.

Because nothing else ever gets delayed from internal dates. Never, lol. That's normal business. Again, you're putting way too much weight in rumors from "reliable sources" who are also excited about the phone and losing sight of two things. 1 they're all rumors, and 2 this happens in business all the time. There is nothing odd here at all. People making something out of nothing is what's laughable.
