Preorders starting tomorrow? (Nov 29th)

Even though it doesn't look like there will be pre-orders today, I really hope they do pre-orders with this phone. I would love to have the phone shipped to me. I wouldn't have to leave work (I'll have it shipped to my office ) and there is the slight possibility that I could get it before it releases in stores.

Should have participated in one of those Nexus puzzle games so at least I have a slight chance of knowing when I am getting the phone... (didn't b/c I thought it was coming out 21st, and winning would only give me an even harder decision to make... too naive...)

Nice try, but the people here complaining are Verizon customers. We can't order one from overseas, as it doesn't work on our system.

I think verizon is doing either a poor job or a good job (depending on how you look at it) with regards to this release date.

I for one am sitting here with my OG droid. It's got the worst software to hardware ratio of any phone out there (apart from putting ICS on the G1).

However it still works... mostly.

The updates would be in some cases minor and in most cases major, but I can still nurse this puppy until I can get a new phone at a discount on December 10th. If I've waited this long for a phone, there's no need for me to go

I can continue to wait until they release it.

I personally have tried the droid Razr and I don't think it's actually a bad phone. I just think the bloatware and the fact that motorola aint so good with syncing up software with hardware just deters me from getting it.

If the nexus isn't offered until Q1 2012, I might be a little bit upset, but I'd be fine so long as they finally offer it.

Sigh.

Don't jump on my ass. I didn't complain about anything. I just responded to the person who offered an unacceptable solution to everyone. Cripes, everybody here needs to chill out.

Who the hell would want to be on T-Mobile or ATT anyway just for a device (besides the Apple sheep when the iPhone came out)? I was on ATT for 15 years, and they suck. I could never make calls, and when I did, they dropped.

As far as VZW having "blown Black Friday" that is your opinion and not fact. Not every phone has to be released on Black Friday or Cyber Monday to be deemed a success.

It's not "opinion" that Verizon blew it for Black Friday or Cyber Monday, since the phone is *not available* on those two humongous shopping days. Very few products of any kind are launched in December, since it's considered important to have them available and promoted for the entire holiday season. This isn't exactly breaking news.

Giving Verizon the benefit of the doubt, it's become obvious to me that it wasn't the sinister "RAZR strategy" that caused this, now that the launch has been pushed back well into the holiday shopping season. Some kind of technical/software problem is now by far the most plausible explanation, which you obviously can't blame Verizon for if they only received the phones recently.

It's entirely possible that Verizon, Google and Samsung are ALL at fault for the delayed release of the GNex.

uh.. Verizon didnt miss black friday. If they cared that much about it they would of had it available someway somehow.

Ive been argueing since like the 10th that Verizon didnt care about black friday and that it wasnt a factor in its release..

they have plenty of phones to sell as it is.. why do people keep acting like black friday is some big phone shopping event.. Verizon wants a new phone for every month.. especially December.

If you go back and add up how much you've paid them I am sure you could get an accurate amount. So it isn't really countless.
