I do think that the 8th will hold, so I am keeping fingers crossed for pre ordering sometime this week.

I won't even care if they said it will release next year on December 2012, as long as they have a date. Everybody is joined in on trolling our community with all these bullcrap rumors even the admin on this site. Verizon is leaving a bad taste and I dont think I want to ever consider having their service again after I get this nexus ordeal over with.

Well what exactly has Verizon done wrong? No official date has been released by Verizon, they aren't behind [or ahead] of schedule

The phone is already released in the UK and have a date for Canada, freaking Canada. I can't even remember the last time a hot item would be released to Canada first before the States. There's no reason for Verizon to be silent about the US date unless something shady is going on.

1 it shouldn't surprise anyone it released in Europe first. 2 Verizon can have any reason they want. At this point its their phone. They can scrap it and throw it in the dumpster if they feel like it

Didn't Verizon say they were releasing a new Android phone every week for the rest of 2011? Could the Galaxy Nexus be on tap for this week, with the Droid 4 next week? I'm just trying to be optimistic, but that is one thing Verizon absolutely did say. Is there anything else on tap this week that I missed?

I think they had phones lined up. I mean not all will be high end smart phones they have the illusion, a new bb, etc. Plus they probably counted the non smart phones they will launch also.

I have no idea if they have that many phones lined up. But if they hold true to their word, we are owed something in 2 days. I will hold out hope for Thursday. Nothing from them yet on the Droid4 for next thursday either but, like I said, they claimed a new Android every week, we are due for something!

Yep, we were 4 months behind Europe and 2 behind Canada. I'd laugh if that happened with the GN. 3 1/2 more months of entertainment, lol

If u don't see it that means its not ready to release. when a phone gets ready to release they add it to the sight.
