Android Central Question

The Samsung s10 allows for pressing and holding down on the email app icon which then displays a short list of persons who have recently sent or received emails and are also listed in my Contacts. This function apparently is to make it easier to quickly send or reply to an email. Right now there are three specific persons who are listed (I don't know how they were selected), but if I send or receive an email to other persons in my Contacts the short list is not updated and remains the same with those three persons names still displayed. There must be a way to cause the list to be updated as new emails are sent or received but I can't find it. (POSSIBLE CLUE: I think that there may be a direct connection between the names of the persons who are listed in the short list and those very same persons who happen to appear in a "shared" list and are highlighted with the email icon "V" in that list.) Does anyone have an idea as to how to get this function working?

I'm not sure if you can get that level of detail in the long press menu. Unfortunately I uninstalled Sesame and can't confirm either way.
