Prevent Facebook re-sync everytime I logout

Verizon S3 with Jelly Bean.

I'm not a heavy Facebook user, but like to check in occasionally, so I logout after every use to save battery and prevent notifications popping up all the time.

However, when I do so, I find it really annoying that I have to re-confirm all my sync settings the next time I login.

Is there anyway around this, without staying logged into the Facebook app all the time ?
