problem with flash since ota.

CBS, for example, worked find on an EVO this morning before applying the latest MR. Applied the MR, and CBS had the audio issue.

So it appears that re-downloading Adobe does not fix it?

I'm having the same issue with Cnet, all the audio is in super slow motion even though the video looks great...

Tried updating flash and now its working great!

After the OTA update I had the sound issues. I tried uninstalling flash updates and reinstalled from the market, it didn't fix. I was using daily show to test as that was the site the OP reported the problem. So I noticed that app called Flash Showcase so I downloaded that thinking well these are places Adobe is specifically telling me to "check out" and maybe the problem was with comedycentral.com. Well the audio issue happened when I tried to view one of the movie trailers through the Flash Showcase as well. Noticed that there was another update for Flash in the market just now, downloaded it and now daily show works fine. Haven't had time to test anything else.

After reading your post, I went to the market and there was an update for Adobe. It was apparently just released. I updated to it and now the sites I've tested so far work again...like CBS. Thank you!

So I'm not sure exactly how this will need to be fixed but am assuming it is involved with how Adobe decodes the sound format. On my Palm Pre, certain internet radio apps would be unable to decode a certain format of sound correctly, which made the couple of radio stations using that format too fast. This I would assume is the same issue. HTC updated some coding that is not playing nice with Adobe's coding and it affects how those particular formatted sound clips work.

Either Adobe needs to update their flash player to work with the new coding, or HTC accidentally broke something that they need to fix, which requires another update on their part....if that's the case, you can bet it will have to wait for other issues.

Many times it just requires an app to be updated but Adobe isn't just a small team of devs worrying about their pet project to survive, it may be tough to get their attention to fix this tiny obscure problem on one device.
