LOVE this keyboard and converted from the stock HTC one. My only complaint would be the dictionary and how you can't remove some of the weird entries it adds.

If you add a weird word, just type it out again, highlight it and hit the "swype" button. It'll ask if you want to delete the word from your dictionary.

on the swype forums on swype.com they said they are going to try to make it easier to delete in later versions.

Ok, maybe i'm dumb.but i can't get my phone to install it.

Yes, i have the unknown apps checked off.

Yes i have astro file manager.

I download the file (which my computer wants to extract it) but then i put the file on my SD card and open up astro. The only option i have on a long press is extract. If i click it, it just opens it up

Any advice?

Cruise over to this post on your evo's browser, click and download it from there, it will do it automatically. If not, tell me exactly why it didn't work.

Hm nothing! I have chrome to phone and just sent the link to my phone...nothing happened I tried going to the download link and it says "download starting" then nothing happened.

I got it...my computer just kept turning the apk files into zipped/compressed file..i just deleted the file extension and tried again.

yeah, dumb pc's ha. couldve saved the hassle if you used your browser on the phone, but glad it worked for you.

Yeah, you know whats the worst part? Since i'm so new to Android i had no idea where the download from the browser goes and then I noticed it was in my notification window AFTER i got it working.

Though its the 1.56 version i downloaded directly which i like the style of better so i'm rocking that.
