PSA: sms bug (sending to wrong contact) alive and well

The stock app frequently opens the wrong thread, but I've had no problems with Handcent SMS. I've never experienced sending a message to the wrong contact, either.

Why use the Google SMS Search on a smartphone? I used to use that before I had a phone with a data plan.

Texting is quick and easy say when in distracting situations. The responses are very short and often exactly what is needed. It is like a very quick targeted google search. It is just a service I like as well.

Also I should clarify:

-"Google SMS Search" is 466453 (that is what does not work for me).

Isnt this a problem that occurs only when a certain number of specific things are done in the right order? Something like receive a text > open the text and press reply > type something > back out before sending and save as draft > send a new text to another contact > goes to previous draft contact instead. I could be WAY off but I swear it was something like that.

I just tested it myself right now and it works fine.

Both numbers should work and VZW verified my claim.... It may work for you that does not mean it works for me.

Struck by the bug the other day using Go SMS. This is a HUGE issue.
