Is that why Circuit City went out of business?? Circuit City had employees that could only get paid commission if they were working the sales floor (not part of customer service or any of that)

Isn't Circuit City an online only store now?

They get points or some sort of reward system (I don't recall exactly). My friend was a manager there. Why do you think you have to tell them several times that you don't want accessories or their warranty? Pretty annoying...

Best Buy: Oh The Lie!!

I called my Best Buy yesterday, I had two Epics on reserve. I get told they are not in the store, and they don't know when they will arrive ... "But you can be sure we will call you when they arrive". I was *assured* they would be in stock today, and the guy eluded at the time that they had some stock already in the store.

I called a couple BB stores in my area. None of them have the phones.

Now, why am I writing this? I had the same scenario happen with the EVO .. supposed to have a first day phone, and guess what, the guy calls me TWO WEEKS LATER, to tell me he has my phone.

If you have a phone reserved at BB, you may want to call them .. For my nickel I will never reserve another product at a Best Buy again...

in some earlier post many people who had B.B. reserve said they were told they wouldnt recieve the shipments till today. They also told them to call back by 2pm

Can I ask what city? I'm going with a friend, who is fortunate enough to have his contract up, to BB this afternoon. I've had some good/some bad experiences with our local one...

Wow I wonder how it gets that messed up? Almost seems like they didn't preorder/reserve the phone properly after taking your money... like someone didn't follow up.

I've preordered from best buy online...and am just as nervous about it.

I still don't have an email stating that it has been shipped. Still showing back-ordered...Wasn't it a preorder when I payed for it on the 19th? Is there a chance I might not get this thing in a week?

I have heard of a few stores that are not getting there shipment until today. Maybe it is because it is a Tuesday release. It is an odd day for a release. Usually they would do it on a Monday or a Friday like the Evo.
