put back "bloat" with Titanium Backup, will official Froyo update work?

I know it's early, but my phone is simply rooted with an official EA28 build. I assume that if I put back all the "bloat" that I hid with Titanium Backup, the official froyo update will work? Afterward, I just want to root (no flashing of roms, etc) - does the one click root still work with the official froyo build?

Thanks very much.

My question is similar, So if the phone is rooted, and only used titanium backup to freeze a few verizon apps can i simply unfreeze those and apply froyo? Or do i need to unroot first?

If you have CwM installed and have changed the phone it will not update OTA.. you will get the download but will fail to install.

I don't have clockwork - just the "one-click" root. I think I got the EA28 update without any problem by putting back the "bloat" I had frozen with Titanium Backup (of course, I lost root and had to redo that), but I was curious if that would still work this time (i.e., the phone would be basically stock, but would have the one click root that the official update would have to overwrite). Also, I now have read elsewhere that folks are working on updating the one-click root, so I'll be patient!

Try the update.

If it fails use ODIN to flash completely back to factory (Very easy) and the update will work fine.
