Put in new microsd card now disk drive option gone?

I bought a class 10 micro sd card 16gigs and when I try to put content on the card when I plug the phone in the option for disk drive does not show up. It only asks me if I want to charge or tether..anyone have any ideas? I just bought the card from amazon and I doubt it is a faulty card.

When you plug in just the SD card on the computer does it pull up. and also try using your computer to format the SD card and then plug it in your phone. If that doesnt work post the link of the SD Card and or specifications of it

Try formatting the card in your phone as well...
