No Android 6 for our beloved Flex 2, it's a shame for a 2015 flagship.

They simply don't care, so I don't care, too.

Really like the G5 but now my money goes elsewhere.

Hello HTC 10 :)

I feel the same way, LG is not getting my money anymore. I never thought a 2015 flagship wouldn't get any updates. Shame on you, LG.

What does the Open-source thingy mean for us?

You need an unlocked variant (Korean?) to install open source sw.

Official Versions will get via OTA etc.

But it's a good sign it's even there he means, i guess.

Yes, LG flex 2 is set to receive MM. My understanding is, it's up to your carrier as to when you will receive it. Some carriers have already begun rolling out the update. I hope Sprint does it soon! I love my flex 2 with or without MM! I was a galaxy gal from day one to S6. Not anymore. I'm glad I gave it try.

Which carriers rolling out MM for the Flex 2 ?

Would be big news here at AC, but reading nothing anywhere on the internet.

It's a damn shame they forgot about this phone, the Flex 2 ist still ergonomically the best smartphone ever built.

Ya, I love this phone and was excited to see them posting the open source, but I don't think ATT is going to update it. If they did, it will probably be right at the time N is out. I love LG but I have to say the lack of updates might drive me away, and this is my 4th device from them and they have all been slow to never. I haven't even seen anywhere where they have sent it over to any carriers yet in the US. Even if they got it today, it's still 2 months away.

LG forgot about us Flex owners :(

It's a shame , only thing we can do is vote with our money and give it to other manufacturers instead LG.

The ZTE Axon 7 , wow.

Exactly, now that we know Nougat is coming, who really cares about MM. I was so excited when MM came out, and well, it looks like I am going to miss the entire update for the first time ever thanks to LG. And why even buy a different phone now because those will be on the last updates too. Guess we need to skip this batch and wait for Sailfish and Marlin. Seems that will be the only way to stay up to date for at least a little while.

And we know this phone was abandoned when they didn't even include Bridge support for it. What a waste.

SO HARD to give up this form factor :(

At least for now i am using my Flex 2, but that Google Daydream ready ZTE Axon 7 is really good and affordable.

Those Audio DAC's , front facing speakers, Snapdragon 820 , 4/6 GB RAM, 2k Display and full metal body designed by BMW Group is really tempting for 449 Euro.

Comes with awesome ear plugs, case, screen protector and 2 year protection plan ( US only )

Should get Android N as well
