Question re Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 bought in 2012

Love my tablet but it's starting to act weird. The little sounds the keys make when you tap on them is intermittent at best.

Now it takes forever for the battery to charge. As I said, I bought this in Dec. of 2012. I am thinking, perhaps it is the battery and that is my question. Could the problems I'm having, both small and large, be because of the battery?

Welcome to Android Central! I suspect it's a combination of a deteriorating battery and an aging motherboard. The battery shouldn't affect the keystroke sounds.

You could bring it to a repair shop to replace the battery, or check YouTube for DIY battery replacement videos. But it may not be worth it.
