Razor THX dongle works great.

Can't say. My order confirmation email says "Adapter 3.5mm for Type-C USB"

OH I tried out the Razer dongle. It sounded the best, but my audio kept cutting in and out of the right channel. So I'm asking them for another one. As long as the second one works, I'm gonna stick with Razer

I have dongle 1 as it was cheaper however I feel dongle 2 is the new version. Dongle 1 still sounds good compared to the standard Pixel one.

I know. annoying I was about to order 3 more of the HTC ones. Oh well. I guess I'll wait.

This one used to be on the Google site but now I don't see it....pricey but I'm tempted to check it out....it's on the Moshi site now. They list the audio specs on it but not sure it's any different.

Thanks for posting this. I had no idea adapters would produce great difference in quality. I was about to order some cheap Amazon adapters. I'm surprised the Google version is inferior.

Huh. Interesting. I wonder if it's much different. I'm not spending 25 bucks plus shipping to find out though. The Razer and HTC ones are good enough for now IMO. But I am very curious.

The one on the moshi site have aluminum housings, so that's different. I wonder if the sound is different. It has to be right? For an almost $15 difference?

They post the specs but since no one else does it's hard to compare on paper

It's pretty poor.

The potential is kinda cool. You can have a dongle that may be focused on the best classical music performance, etc...

I would not describe it as inferior. In fact it's quite good.

Disagree on the poor. The others you have tried may be better or different but the Google dongle actually tests quite well in sound comparisons to other phones and some prefer it over the HTC.

Which adapter feels like it fits the smoothest into the USB-C port ? You can't afford risking damage to the port considering everything runs through it now.

True....you would hope all USB connectors we're equal but I recall one of my cables is super snug and I don't use it
