I got the USB C to 3.5mm...Much richer and fuller sounds, bass is good but not super heavy. //uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171215/de3efa199e3a10fc25a09eb1bd782383.jpg

It is definitely a snug fit not going to come loose but the piece feels like it is quality plastic I would rather have that than something loose I leave my dongle attached to my headphones and just buy extra ones if I need them, if is secure fit in the phone. I'm definitely happy with this oneHow does the headphone part connect to this dongle? I'm asking because I bought the HTC one and it connects crappily. The Google dongle headphone jack clicks in nice and easy. The HTC one slides in and then gets real hard to push in, making it quite annoying to use and unuse. Does the Razor one click in easily or not? Thanks!

Can you post the link
You are missing something indeed. Different dongles have different sound quality due to different chips in them. My HTC dongle produces more full and better bass sound than the Google one, which is a bit thin sounding. Can't wait to hear the Razer one.
amazon is out of stock. just google 'razer usb-c to 3.5mm' and you'll find it on the razer website. i just ordered one. it better be good, the cheapest shipping was $10, so a grand total of 30 clams.

Does the HTC one work with your Pixel 2 as well, I only ask as they're a lot cheaper than the Razer one.
Yes it works. And it's noticeably better than the stock Google one IMO. I have a very nice set of IEM's to test them out with. I find the HTC sound to be slightly fuller, richer and with more bass.
Only gripe with the HTC dongle is the headphone jack slides in easy at first and then becomes very very snug, to the point you think it's in there, but it isn't. There is no satisfying click in like with the Google dongle. You really gotta push it in to get it in all the way so the dongle recognizes there are headphones attached. But if you don't mind that, it's a superior sound.
Thanks, just ordered 2 of them for £12, better value than the Razer THX one.
Let us all know what you think, if it's much better I'll have to buy a couple. If the Razer one is better than the HTC one I'll be happy and probably order two more. If it's not I'll return it and buy 3 more HTC ones.
One for each of my two main messenger bags, one to have laying around to use regularly, and one to keep in my IEM's case in case I forget to bring the one with me![]()

Who said ditching the 3.5mm jack was a bad thing![]()
Yep the HTC one is a nice upgrade.Just received my HTC adapters today and I have to agree with the improved sound quality over the standard Pixel adapter. I can't wait to read what these THX ones sound like

Turns out the razer dongle ships from Hong Kong so I'll be waiting a little longer for that one to test
