Honestly, I do want to love my shiny new Android. I did days of research. It has the best combination of everything I want in a smart phone. I have been successful with integrating my previous 3 smart phones into my life with setups and apps I need. I swear the Galaxy IIIS has a secret life. It inhales battery power all by itself when not in use. It changes settings I apply. It refuses to allow me to delete or modify huge power hogs and doesn't have a way to even determine what the hell they are doing or where they came from. And my service provider seems to have permanently installed equally opaque apps onto the phone which I can't investigate, delete or modify without upgrading which will permits the service provider to take over the things I already have in place. In short, I am so frustrated today I'm ready to toss the phone into the sound and go buy an iPhone5. And I'm fundamentally opposed to Apple's 'planned obsolescence' on all peripherals that also need to be replaced with each iteration of the phone and inability to replace batteries or upgrade core memory. Whew. Sorry for the big vent. But honestly
, the galaxy has driven me to it. Is anyone else similarly frustrated? http://cdn-forums.androidcentral.com/images/smilies/sad.png
