Received my official Galaxy Tab10.1 case!

I got the black silicone sleeve from Amazon for about $20. Fits really snug and makes me feel more secure carrying the tab around the house, plus it looks really sharp!

Just picked up the Samsung book case cover. Wow what a difference from the Belkin cases. Found the Samsung case at local hhgregg!

Got an email today from Samsung telling me they were cancelling my order due to an error on their website. Apparently they didnt actually them in stock. Hope the code still works when they get them back in stock.

Got the Samsung case yesterday, and while it IS on the expensive side all I can say is WOW. All the other cases I saw look like they add a lot of bulk. This case wraps so perfectly around the tab that it adds almost no bulk. If you bought the tab over the transformer, you obviously bought for the form factor. It would be a shame to get a bulky case that messes that up.

The best way to describe the case is that it feels almost exactly like a hard book cover. Hell it even sounds like a book closing when you shut the cover. I'm very happy with the purchase so far!

Quick Update:

One week in and the Samsung case is still going strong! I find myself being a little more careless with the 10.1, as the case seems so solid (not smart... I know).

The texture also makes it much easier to hold the 10.1 for an extended time!

Overall, great purchase...even at full price!

Literally the second I checked my shipping email to track the package, my doorbell rang! It was quite coincidental... And I love this case! Very slim, yet sturdy.

My order was placed on the 25th with an invoice date of the 27th but the tracking response from USPS is still "no record of this item".
Is this normal or do this seems like a problem from those of you that have gone through the process

Ordered mine today, off the Samsung site. Since there is a valid coupon code, I got the keyboard dock, too. (Used GOOGLEIO2011 to get 30% off)

I will have that and a Roocase to compare against next week.

That is exactly how mine was as well. I got my tracking email on the 27th, and it showed "no record" until last night when it said that the tracking information had been received. Checked it this morning and it showed "out for delivery" and literally got it right then.

No tracking info for me either, but it the case showed up today.

Quick observations: Not impressed for the money spent.

If you want something to protect the Tab and keep a small form factor this case is great, but propping it up using the flap is a flop. Was hoping that it would be a little more secure in that regards for using it on my lap, but any little movement trips the flap and down it goes. Repeat.

Other than that, it should make for a decent method for carrying without adding bulk. Looks and feels nice, too.

Noticed a problem when using the case while propped up which changes the orientation of the tablet. Youtube in full screen doesn't rotate to compensate being turned 180 ?.
