Received the Official Desktop Dock Today

I preordered the Galaxy Nexus desktop dock and vehicle dock from Clove.co.uk back in Februrary and just received my desktop dock today. All that was in the box was the dock itself and quick-start guide. There are no cables included. The Galaxy Nexus fits in smoothly with a nice, quality feel. The pins work just as I would have hoped. Out back is a micro USB port and 3.5mm audio jack. Unlike the Nexus One dock, no bluetooth is included. So, there is no way to control your music with the phone out of the dock. The connection is solely through the three-pin connection.

got mine yesterday! got it through expansys... same thing... no cables, just the dock... but you're right, it's got a nice quality feel. Quite solid with some heft, so it won't move around. Nexus fits nice and snug... i don't think there's a chance in hell the vzw version would fit.

makes for a great bedside clock... goes to landscape mode as soon as it docks. I'm liking it so far...

I recieved mine yesterday as well. My GSM Nexus fits just fine. My girlfriends VERIZON Nexus does NOT fit.

With the Nexus One dock, I couldn't use the phone while docked without the pins losing contact. This would cause my dock app to open up then close down while I was attempting tasks such as replying to text messages.

I am happy to say the way the Galaxy Nexus fits into its desktop dock, this is no longer an issue. I am free to use the phone without it losing pin contact.

That's really nice. I would like to get one, but as martonikaj said, $57 is a bit much. It would be nice if Samsung or Google would sell the accessories directly.

In case anyone is wondering - the GSM Nexus with extended battery still fits the dock nicely. Got the 2000 mAh battery & cover today and confirmed it still fits the landscape dock.

It's just meant to charge it and get audio out.

Didn't see this thread until I bought one for my cdma verizon. So it doesn't fit..... It is just slightly too thick and won't slide all the way into the dock to correctly connect to the pongo pins.
