Recent Apps Button Only Showing Samsung Apps

There's a update to stock launcher in galaxy store that fixes recent apps and working as it should. View attachment 343973

Hmm. Interesting. Just did a search for "Samsung One UI Home" in the Galaxy store and got no hits. Does not show as an app, much less update available (or not).

Two week old S22 Ultra unlocked on AT&T. Baseband ends AVC8, Security Patch March 1, 2022.

Probably hasn't rolled out to everyone yet, yeah it won't show up in search only update but you can download the apk here to install

So this App is just a work around till an update fix (IF) come alone?
Samsung One UI is not really an app but is the Samsung's Home Launcher (User Interface). It appears that Samsung is rolling out an update to their launcher to fix this specific issue. Not everyone will get this update at the same time but hopefully we all get it soon.

Got my update this morning. Recent apps is fixed. I even have Tapatalk listed in my recent apps now which was not showing in my recent apps list before; not along the bottom or in the list.

The update shown in your screen shot is AVC8, which is a few weeks old. The one rolling out today in the US is AVCK.
Probably referring to Home launcher update and that software page showed up in their screenshot recent apps

That screenshot of my recent apps shows the settings software update page before I installed the update. Currently, the update I applied today ends in AVCJ. The purpose of that screenshot was to show that the apps along the bottom are no longer Samsung apps but actually apps that I recently used.

Since they fixed it I guess I can try to use the feature for a bit. I usually turn it off. I never would have known it was broken. Lol

Thanks, now I understand.

The recent-apps feature works properly again for me now too, with AVCK and One UI Home 13.1.01.63.
