Reception

The network may have something to do with it but the phone(s) must be at fault to some degree. I have a 3G data card also, 2 Env 3's and a HTZ Ozone running on the 3G network with no problem with data or calls (other than slow as crap). The Charges are the only ones acting flakly on the 3G and 4G network.. I don't know. When the signal is decent 2+ bars, they are SMOKING fast.. they just do not seem to be able to 'capture' the RF as well as my other phones do...

When I first got the phone the signal levels were great, then for some reason ALL of the signal levels dropped, BT, WIFI, Mobile data and GPS. What could cause all of them to drop off? I wish there was a way to go back to ED1 because other then going to ED2 nothing has been changed on my phone. When I had my BB developers were able to tweek the radio files. Can this be done on a droid?

I am still at ED1, (didn't let them do it on mine) my wife's is ED2 (just to see any diff). I have installed NO apps other than speedtest, no mail or anything setup. Same symptoms on both... Actually yesterday, I had the 4LTE symbol displayed with a circle with a line through it next to it instead of the signal bars. Still got data though speedtest, but could not make a telephone call..???... had to airplane mode it to get the display / network back right...
I had a coworker go from a DroidX to a Charge, he said his signal level seems to be lower also.. O well, its a great phone if it can stay connected to the network...
