Regarding ICS update for Samsung Galaxy S2

I have the ICS update available for my phone and i have read many user opinion that it just sucks and messes up the phone so i would like to know from anybody who has any experience with updating an s2, is it good? Should i do it?? Does it reduce ram? Will i be able to play high graphics game like nova 3,the dark knight rises like i could do now in my gingerbread? Is it worth the trouble??

I updated a friends S2 few weeks ago. it updated without issues and is totally worth it.
Yes, you should update and you can play all games. most games are not compatible with ICS now.

Thanks for the reply, but does the ram go down a lot?? I have 837mb ram usable and i heard it goes down to 640 something so i am a bit worried about it.

Not so much but i havent looked at the phone i upgraded but when i got ICS on my phone it only took 30-50 Mb extra ram
