Just got off the phone with Sprint, and though I have nothing new release date wise, a new possible reason for the delay did come up in the conversation. Remember, this is unconfirmed as yet, but here is the idea:
Google is releasing Android v2.4 sometime in May. The phones may already HAVE Android 2.4 on them, and Sprint may not be allowed to release them until 2.4 is finished baking. Intriguing idea is it not?
Also, the original Nexus S came out with regular DDR memory, and the Nexus S 4G has DDR 2 memory for RAM, and the 16 gig ROM is attached to the motherboard via mini USB 3.0 (better than 1 gigabit per second). The original Nexus ROM was connected with mini USB 2.0 (Max 480 megabit per second). Pretty big hardware differences.
Thought you guys would be interested.
That is pretty big... I wish Sprint would make some noise.
