Removing Amazon.mp3 app

Anyone know how to remove the amazon app from the Eris? I tried going to managing applications but there is no "delete/remove" function? And its not listed under the Market place downloads (since its obviously not downloaded).

any clues?

cannot be removed till the Eris is rooted and no one's sure when it will be.

There are several of the apps that came with the phone that I would love to remove. I hope the designers are reading this forum.

Those apps will be there no matter what. Carriers and manufactures agree to put certain apps on their phones I'm not sure about the process but every phone I've seen comes with apps you will never use.

If I am forced to have apps that I didn't ask for and/or want, I wish there was a way to put them in a "never to be used" folder so they weren't taking up visual space.
