Replacement Stylus & General Tips

I'm pretty late on this but I have this stylus and it works great on my Note 10.1. https://store.wacom.com/us/en/product/CS300UK/
I haven't tried it on a Note Pro12.2 yet as I've just ordered mine. :)

Sorry I guess I should elaborate a bit. it is about the same size as a ball point pen. Any of the Wacom Stylii for Wacon penabled devices will work well and they have a huge assortment now.

I had that bamboo one too but it had precision problem - about 2mm off the pen tip. The pen is only compatible with galaxy note 10.1 older versions and I gathered that it works well on Surface Pro too.

OK I see what you are talking about, mine does the same thing unless I hold the pen exactly straight up, if I tilt at all is is off a tiny bit.

The Note Pro arrived this morning and I have been playing a bit, getting it setup etc. This is one beautiful tablet. :)

On the XDA site there are instructions on how to adjust the pressure sensitivity on the Bamboo stylus, there are two "dials" inside the pen and after popping the cap off you can get to them, one is for pressure the other is for offset.

I wonder if you couldn't tweak the offset a tiny bit to solve precision problem?

I have a link to instructions but I don't know if it is ok to post a link to another forum.

Stylus looks just like the one that came with my Surface Pro 2. In fact my surface stylus works great. Button brings up the s pen control panel. It might be cheaper to find a replacement stylus from a surface.

you should figure out how to make one with an eraser (I hate the stupid button) I use my pro 12.2 to edit photos and sketch, I constantly hit that stupid button. I might have to figure something like this out, you should post a step by step to youtube! Maybe figure out a way to make a retractable pen! Patent this, sell it, make the $$ lol!

+1 I'm probably going to have to get one looks nice!

Yeah, my problem is if I lost a pen/stylus I paid that much for, I'd be beyond upset. lol
