Resetting "Just Once/Always"??

Welcome to Android Central! Have you already tried my previous suggestion of going to Settings>Apps, selecting File Commander, and tapping Clear Defaults?

Welcome to Android Central! In general, since your question is off topic from the original post, it's better to create a new thread rather than post it in this thread. But to answer your question, the best way to share large videos is to upload it privately to YouTube or your Google Photos in the cloud, then share the link with the recipient.

If you're trying to send a video over MMS (i.e., the text messaging app), there is a maximum filesize of about 1 MB, so most videos will either be too large to send, or will be severely compressed. Google Messenger can send larger videos, but I'm not sure if there's a filesize limit there as well.

The answer for this changes every time some exec decides to screw with the basic operational features etc.

For samsung sg5 and sg5neo, to reset default on just ONE app, not ALL apps:

○ settings

○ applications

○ default applications

○ set default applications

○ then scroll to find the app you accidentally set as a default for whatever task

○ click that app and then choose clear defaults

○ if you want to choose an app each time under settings>default apps> there will be a link for default app selection where you can set it to as "just once" or "always"

Why these two things are in completely different sections is beyond me.

See you all next time i upgrade my phone!

Settings > Apps > Scroll over to "All" > Menu button at the top right (3 dots) > Reset app preferences

OMG! I just did this and it reset them all. I only wanted to do one but did not see individual options. What the heck ?
Why is there no setting to reset only one app?
