[Retired][ROM]Superclean 2.9.2 EA15/EB01/EB16/EC10 Based

I haven't fooled with the CPU profile at all. Didn't even know that was changeable.

If you or anyone has some suggestions for me, I'm all ears! I really like the SC ROMS and don't want to go back to the leak, or much less, stock!

Honestly your best bet would be. Fully wipe and Odin back to eb01 then flash this rom with cwm. You shouldn't be having this issue so its either your phone has an issue or you have to much old data in your system. But that's just a guess and probably a bit extreme

Hmmm. That may be a good idea. I don't have THAT much on my SD card, but it's worth a try. But I used ROM explorer and restored my previous rom of Froyo. It sucks my battery dry in 1/2 a day but at least I can carry an extra battery and can use my phone without the damn thing dying on me every 10 minutes! (no exageration)

Ah! May have found the culprit. Did you use Rom explorer or Rom Manger?

I installed this on my friends fascinate yesterday and everything seemed to be working great. Now her MMS won't work at all (doesn't receive, send, etc) any ideas why this is happening?

From what I thought I understood, isn't that what DX's Odin packages do, wipe your system before flashing it? I know I had to restore everything. But heck, I'm willing to give it a try.

Mind telling me how I format my system before reflashing it using CWM?

I REALLY appreciate your help!! I'm a computer technician, so being kind of lost with this stuff is really humbling! :)

How did you install it on her phone? Did you use one of DroidXcon's all-in-one packages or did you flash the zip file in cwm? And what build was she running before, was she completely stock never did anything to her phone before?

She was running stock before, but hacked up and de-binged. I installed via voodoo CFW and did both clear data/cache so she had a completely clean rom booting up. Personal apps were restored via titanium backup.

Stock Froyo (EB01) or stock Eclair (DL09 or EA28)? What is CFW? Why did you choose voodoo? Did you enable lag fix before you booted the phone? Did you hear a female droid voice when the phone booted for the first time after install? If she was on stock Eclair did you also flash the EB01 modem in ODIN?

She was on Eclair before, though which build exactly I can't honestly say. Lagfix was enabled in CWR (I mistyped this as CFW earlier, sorry). The female droid voice came up and talked to us when I flasked the ROM. I did not flash any modem that I know of, just the correct CWR (I had accidentally updated to 3.x in Rom Manager not knowing it was buggy).

please go to settings> about phone>baseband, tell us what it says

There are many partitions on our phone, my packages only write to what is necessary. it is possible that one of the other partitions has corrupt data,,,i would try to first go into clockwork, wipe dalvik cache and also try fixing permission, if this doesnt fix the problem, flashing the EB01 fix all would be a good next step

learn how to do these things here http://forum.androidcentral.com/ver...-clockworkmod-recovery-w-screen-captures.html

Either you for her, or she if she knows what she is doing will need to flash this EB01 modem eb01modem.tar via ODIN. You can get by with the DL09 modem, but flashing the EB01 modem so our baseband and build match should take care of the problem.

I have loaded 2.9.1 and it comes with 5 home screen pages. How do I get into edit mode so I can delete the ones I am not using?

Sushi, where ya been? We haven't heard from you in a while. You know....you teach them what they need to know, you help them out, then send them off into the rooting world on their own and what happens? They never call, they never write :D:p

Nice to know I was missed!

Been in the middle of selling my townhouse and taking advantage of this down market to buy an actual house with a yard nearby. Which brings me to my two little rugrats which have also been keeping me plenty busy! Not much time for daddy to play with his toys. :(
