[Retired][ROM]Superclean 2.9.2 EA15/EB01/EB16/EC10 Based

Nice to know I was missed!

Been in the middle of selling my townhouse and taking advantage of this down market to buy an actual house with a yard nearby. Which brings me to my two little rugrats which have also been keeping me plenty busy! Not much time for daddy to play with his toys. :(

Well good to hear from you again and good luck with the transition to the house. I will stop chatting in Adrynalyne's thread now.

please go to settings> about phone>baseband, tell us what it says

There are many partitions on our phone, my packages only write to what is necessary. it is possible that one of the other partitions has corrupt data,,,i would try to first go into clockwork, wipe dalvik cache and also try fixing permission, if this doesnt fix the problem, flashing the EB01 fix all would be a good next step

learn how to do these things here http://forum.androidcentral.com/ver...-clockworkmod-recovery-w-screen-captures.html

Thanks, Droid! I've restored my ROM prior to the most recent backup before the flash. I'll try it again this weekend.

Thanks again!

Brucedbr, did you see my question from earlier? Did you use Rom explorer or Rom Manager to restore your previous Froyo build? If you used Rom Manager that would be at least part of your problem, if not the very cause of your problem. Rom Manager is basically incompatible with our Fascinates right now. If you are using Rom Manager, stop using it until you read in these forums it is once again functional for the Fascinate.

Are the transitions taken out of 2.9v That's what I'm running, and in the default launcher, I don't get the bounce feature from the homescreen when I press the menu button. Thanks in advance.

I asked this, but I believe it got over looked - could someone tell me if I'm just dumb and they're there just different or they've been removed? Thanks again.

Were you getting it before when running the AOSP launcher that is in superclean, or did you have ADW or Launcher pro when you saw the transition animations? I know in ADW and LP there is a setting for the transition animations, but I don't think there is one in the AOSP launcher.

I believe I saw it in LP with 2.6. I'm still using LP with 2.9 and I can't see it. I checked the LP prefs, and I don't see it there either.

He took the bounces out of 2.9 (or forgot to put them in at the last minute :))

I didn't like them...

I flashed Superclean 2.8 last night, I just downloaded and pushed a theme to my sd. When I booted into recovery it went into blue, I hit update.zip and it went to green....what happened to my red and is it safe for me to flash through green??

is there a setting for keeping the screen on while in a phone call unless its against your face? I was calling a customer service place today for something and using my bluetooth and needing to use the keypad to enter information and options. It would cut out randomly and with no warning. The call was fine but I could only get the screen to come back on with the power button. When it came back on it would either come back up to the keypad like I had it, sometimes hidden, sometimes the lock screen. like I said I never lost the call but this was annoying. I'm running SC 2.9.1 with the EB01 VA Green Theme v1.9.2. Everything else is working great. Any help is appreciated.

I'm not a aware of one since that is the function of the proximity sensor at the top front of the phone next to the earpiece. It senses when you pull the phone away from your ear and wakes the screen up.

So just to clarify, if I'm on Superclean 2.4 (EB01 according to About Phone), how do I install this? Do I do ODIN again, or is their a quicker way without wiping data?

Apologies if this was already answered, but I'm at work and can't read 50+ pages of threads :)

I just saw it was taken down and another link was provided but only for the odin version, anyone know where to find the ALL zip?

Well that's what I thought too, so sitting on my table or desk face up it should stay on till the screen timeout occurs I would think. Wonder if the theme could be doing it.

check out how to flash a zip section and you should wipe cache partition and dalvik aswell for good measure. all these things are detailed in thread.

Thanks Shark! No, I didn't see that message earlier. I backed up my ROM with Rom Manager before I flashed it, but only JUST today restored the previous FROYO build. It seemed to restore ok, but do you think just having it on my phone could have been the problem? When i did the flash before, I didn't use it to go back. I just did it today when I got too frustrated with the darn thing dying every 5 minutes.

Thanks DroidX, one question though. I only have the recovery that came with SC 2.4, it's not red like that. Do I need the red one, or can I get by with the one that is already on it?

If you are using the Rom Manager you can download from the Market, anything you flash in it right now will most likely end up causing problems. The clockworkmod recovery tied to Rom Manager is used for a different kind of script than any of the ROMs we are flashing, so you are flashing ROMs with an incompatible system. It will not hurt anything just having ROM manager on your phone. Just don't run, flash, backup, or restore anything through it for now. You can follow these forums as I'm sure as soon as Rom Manager is functional again for the Fascinate, the word will be passed around here. Do me a favor though, open Rom Manager, look at the top box that says "flash clockworkmod recovery", DON'T touch it, just check the two sets of numbers in there. The latest recovery should be 3.0.0.8. Does it say the same in current recovery or does it say 2.5.1.x?

really dumb question... sc 2.9

currently running eb01/16 sc 2.8

I flashed the package thru odin.

I'd like to upgrade to sc 2.9 I downloaded the file. do I put it on my sd card and just flash thru cmw?

I'm a little rusty on this because I think I've only flashed thru odin.

I need to back up with Ti Backup, wipe data, wipe cache, and dalvik before flashing correct?

I just don't wanna screw it up and be begging for all your help later :)
