Can anyone give me a hand with the below questions? I still can't find that darn patch, I'm beginning to think it was in my head ) lol.

So far 2.9 had been running strong for me, no hiccups at all that I've experienced. Great job Adryn! It was an effortless upgrade to cwm all, 2.9, and kernel. All in one happy package!

Two things. I swear I saw a patch somewhere that would fix the text messaging issues (SMS over 160 characters converting to MMS)... but after searching multiple threads I can't seem to find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction or supply the link please?

How exactly do you disable/re-enable agps/gps? Is this done through Settings > Location & Security > Standalone GPS Services / Google Location Services? I'd love to apply the GPS mod and give it a try since I use the Navigation often.

I've been looking into it. So far, no dice.

Here are images of the voice dialer (from a coworkers LG Optimus) I was inquiring about.. not sure if this is the bluetooth dialer or not..

Is there not a stock voice dialer built into Froyo? IF so was it removed for 2.9?

Im running sc 2.9 and really like it. one issue im having is even though i turned off audible touch tones and audible selection, im sill getting audible feeback when im typing and when making some selections. anyway to get around that?

Adrynalyne, thank you so much for 2.9. Really great ROM. I'm really liking the changes to SMS, and the Battery indicator as well. My only request would be a new shutdown animation. Any chance we'll see something different in 2.10? Thanks for the consideration!

Thank you also for 2.9, I put it on this morning and the auto rotate doesn't work on the home screen. It works when in an app, just not when looking at home screens or the list of apps.

Is is supposed to be that way?

For those of us that the keys don't light up with the screen, how do we fix it? Just a minor issue. Great update though !!

I've mentioned this before, but I do not support themes. If you flash themes or mods that are not compatible with this rom, expect problems.

Don't deny it This issue comes from flashing different framework over mine.

I didn't flash any theme, the only thing that I flashed was cwn-recovery-all

Just flash it the same way you flashed the ROM via CwM Recovery

Well crap.... Just applied the 2.9.1 update via CwM along with the VA Green theme and I think I am experience my first force close loop of hell. Phone boots-I see my phone screen but can't do anything-force close vibration pattern-boot animation plays-repeat...

I was using 2.9 voodoo and experienced a few force close issues and now I am stuck. I'm guessing that I am going to have to us an ODIN package and ODIN over everything.... correct? Or is there more involved in the F.C.L.O.H?

Finally took the plunge and went with Superclean 2.9. I notice that my phone is definitely faster, but the battery seems to be draining pretty quick, even when just in stand by mode.

Try to hard boot into recovery. (Volume up and down while holding the power button, Sammy screen will blip off and then back on, release the keys) Hopefully you kept straight up 2.9 voodoo on your SD card. Try to flash that again and see what happens? I know a few people have been getting incomplete downloads. If that fails then I would ODIN.

*Edit: Also, try only flashing one file at a time. Flash 2.9, re-boot, then back into recovery to flash your theme.

Hah! I had forgotten all about going straight into CwM Recovery via 3 button press (hadn't had to do it since we got the advanced shutdown options). I'll do that and flash 2.9. I'll update this post after it (hopefully) works.

ha. I spoke too soon earlier. Either the 2.9.1 update or the EB16 kernel made the backlight on the soft touch button stop coming on with the screen.

I dk what's up with the soft keys. Mine won't come on until i press one. I actually prefer it this way.
