Charger issue

Ever since 2.8, I've had an issue where the tray is unresponsive. I'm referring to the bottom row of icons on the homescreen. When the phone is plugged in and charging none of the icons on the bottom of the screen respond to any touch. Any ideas?

Also, superclean is now at version 2.9.1 You should look into flashing the newest version as most of the issues you will find in 2.1 have already been corrected in the new releases.

Got the wife an iphone 4 yesterday so I rooted the fascinate odin staight to eb01 then loaded this rom man this phone flies now it was already just as snappy as my droid 2 on ea28 now it putts that phone to shame
Trying to figure out why it took my soo long to get one I love it great job on the rom so far its been stable as a rock guess the test will be today when I go to work

Flash Player Issues 2.6

So I had sc 2.6 and everything worked well (including flash) tried flashing 2.9 and my phone wouldn't get past the boot screen (I think thats a brick?) And so I put 2.6 back on my phone and everything is fine again except my flash player 10.1 doesn't play videos in browser anymore and wont recognize any videos requiring flash. I have reinstalled flash a few times and rebooted my phone but nothing is helping that.

Any suggestions or ideas? I also searched the forums but didn't find anything so far.

Did you try a factory reset it know it's like nuking your phone to fix a small bug but it could be eroneas app data that's causing the issue

+1 on thebizz's suggestion. Also regarding Flash player. When you have a browser window open you have to hit the menu soft key and go =>more=>settings=>enable plug-ins and choose either always or on demand. I choose on demand.

I would do a search for "flash"in root explorer and delete every adobe flash player file. Then reboot and try installing from market.

You have the plugins enabled in the browser settings I assume?

Thank you guys I'll see if that stuff helps I'm going to save factory reset for the last option though I'll try the root explorer thing and see if that works. Where would the files be to delete?

Google Maps used to be at 30 meters immediately and then get down to 2-3 meters within 10-30 seconds. Now, it takes several minutes and sometimes will not do it at all. Closest I can get is down to about 5 meters and it is usually 9-10 meters. Any ideas? I am on 2.91 now without any improvement. GPS worked perfect from 2.1 all the way up to 2.6.

Check out my post #543 on page 55 of this thread. And for Google maps to be completely effective make sure wifi is turned on by going menu=>settings=>wireless & networking=>wireless settings and checking wifi. Also go menu=>settings=>location & security and make sure all three location services are checked.

I have never flashed a Rom through cwm, but I am wanting to save sc2.9 on my sd card incase I need to flash it with out a computer. If I have to flash it through cwm, is it going to wipe my phone?

I had everything checked. After 30 seconds, I am still showing 0/1 satellites using GPS Status. Trying to figure out what changed from 2.6 to 2.8 and on with GPS.

Anyone interested in trying a GPS mod (for those with bad GPS)?

Just flash in cwr, and disable/re-enable all your agps and gps settings on next reboot.

Trouble viewing Office Docs on SC 2.9 Help?

So I took a sip of the Koolaid...Rooted & put on SC 2.9. Mad props to the devs, everything went super smooth (first time root n00b). The only issue I'm currently having is trying to open either Excel or Word files. I tried Docs to Go, Office Suite Pro (Trial) and Thinkfree Office (Lite). I'm having the same problem with all of them. Every time I open a file from an email attachment from my Exchange account I'm getting an error about document failing to open or document corrupt. I've tried with several different files which I emailed under separate emails. Same problem with all 3 of the different Office Suite products...
Any ideas?
Thanks again to the devs, so far this thing rocks but I need to solve this problem or I might have to flash back to stock.

Flashed SC 2.9 nothing could be smoother. Thanks to DroidX and all the folks here! Now I begun the restore process of some of my favorite apps.. With TB I am not restoring my settings along with the apps. Am I doing something wrong?

Ok I got me 5 home screens in 2.9 I only need really 3 or 4. How the Fudge do I manage home screens? I've plinkin around for about a half hour now with now success.

get another launcher such as ADW or launcher pro. AOSP does not have options for that
