[Retired][ROM]Superclean 2.9.2 EA15/EB01/EB16/EC10 Based

Andrenalyne,

Are you planning a minor rev based on some of the comments and your questions today? If so, I'll wait to flash...

TIA

Mike

It appears that when I add a theme from nitroglycerine33 onto this release,it kills haptic feedback on the stock android keyboard. I have installed a third party keyboard and told it to override system default on the vibration intensity. This seems to work to correct that issue. Stock keyboard worked fine before theme was overlaid.

Since you are using launcher pro, I am assuming your contacts short cut is on your dock? If so, just press and hold it, select "change shortcut", then choose blank.

No go back to the blank dock spot, press and hold, select "create shortcut" go to applications and select contacts

I did the first part, and icon no longer shows. Then I pressed and held the blank dock spot, selected change shortcut (no create shortcut), then applications, then contacts.

It goes to the contacts, but then when I hit the back button (second one from the right, it goes back to an identical contacts screen. When I hit the back button again, nothing happens. When I hit the home button, it goes to the home screen. It was not doing the double screen thing before, but the back button would not take me to the home screen

"Keyboard for Android 2.3+" by Steven Lin, which is the paid app. Here is the link for the paid and free. I think it is worth a $ for the paid one, Good luck!

Update: nitroglycerine33 over at XDA has also posted a link for a CWM flash of the default keyboard. This fixed my problem.

does anyone have a theme applied on 2.9.2 that is running smoothly. Im currently running VA green theme 1.9.2 and it seems pretty smooth, I did notice on the notification bar it changed 2.9.2. to 2.9.1. Is that because it is not updated to the latest version or did i screw something up?

Question:

I have SC 2.9.1 EC10 VooDoo with VA Green theme installed...

I don't much care for the boot animation, and want to go back to the 2.9 boot animation with the cool honeycomb explosion thing going on...

Can I just pull the file 'bootanimation.zip' from Adryn's SFC 2.9 zip (super_frankenclean_2_9v > system > media), and load it through CWR like any other ZIP file? Or will that totally tank something? And, would I have to remove the current 'bootanimation.zip' file first, or would the newly zip'd file overwrite it???

Just a warning for you but using a theme for a version back may replace some of the updated files with modified ones from the previous build, thusly reversing some of the improvements. The odds of it mattering seem slim but still, I would wait till your theme of choice is up to speed.

Have you tried rebooting? if you have and you're still having issues try wiping cache and d Cache in CWM

reloaded 2.9.2 today and everything works fine. i have somehow kept the Market which i thought had been removed..but its here anyways.. i checked my GPS and it showed exactly where i was in my house which has a tin roofed front porch.. and i am happy... i did have to remove the EB16 from my fascinate as it went wild changing apps on its own.

i heard someone say they used the 2.9.2 to voodoo.. at this stage can i just install the Voodoo 2.9.2 and be a Voodoo phone or is there more work involved. i dont wanta push my luck, so far all is well and stable for now.

the theme hasnt been updated yet. Like sheepdog said you're now running a mix of 2.9.1 and 2.9.2 but mostly running 2.9.1 cuz that theme is based on the previous framework.
