[Retired][ROM]Superclean 2.9.2 EA15/EB01/EB16/EC10 Based

Hey Guys, I'm running latest SC version no problems at all.....Question I have is I liked the "Favorites" widget on stock version...the scrollable one that you could add a picture & either one click to send a message or to call

Does anyone have the link that I could flash or is this possible with 2.9.2????

go back to the first post on this thread and look under patches-->flash the tw ones.

I did that last night. I deleted the cache, davlik wipe (or whatever that is), and reflashed. The only problem is that when I select contacts, the back button will not take me back to the home screen. This was my original problem. I have to use the home button. It appears to be the rom since I never had this issue with DL30 leak.

Try just doing a cache and dalvic wipe... don't reflash, just reboot. That has restored some things for me in the past

tnez - i have flashed those...still not seeing it. I'm running launcher pro & when I pull up the widgets it's not listed. I want "Buddies now" I thought that originally there was a flash for the Samsung Clock & the Buddies now widgets....back around SC 2.6 or so
I went to an X & came back to the Fascinate and now I can't find them to flash

Stupid question..I'm running SC2.9.2. I selected the AOSP unlock screen. When you unlock the screen, it shows the date, time, belongs to, and alarm icon if it's set. On the belong to part, it's blank. How can I get it to show my name? Is there a setting for me to enter my name?

Thanks....

I've never seen a "belongs to" option. Is that a third party app?

try this. this is what worked for me. Clear data on launcher pro then immediately reboot. dont touch anything. then Long press on the contacts icon, choose change shortcut, choose applications, choose phone, choose default icon. Click on phone icon, click back soft key. Long press on that same phone icon, change shortcut, applications, contacts, default icon, click icon, try back button. Then restart again. All shall be good after that! Let me know. I got to this with the help from Sharky

Question:

I have SC 2.9.1 EC10 VooDoo with VA Green theme installed...

I don't much care for the boot animation, and want to go back to the 2.9 boot animation with the cool honeycomb explosion thing going on...

Can I just pull the file 'bootanimation.zip' from Adryn's SFC 2.9 zip (super_frankenclean_2_9v > system > media), and load it through CWR like any other ZIP file? Or will that totally tank something? And, would I have to remove the current 'bootanimation.zip' file first, or would the newly zip'd file overwrite it???

You can place it into system/media and it will work fine.

Andrenalyne,

Are you planning a minor rev based on some of the comments and your questions today? If so, I'll wait to flash...

TIA

Mike

Well, if you flash the camera from gizmodroid, then it fixes the camera. I'm just try to catch up and see what other issues are. I was worried about the haptic feedback, but since I reflashed it was fixed.

Brand new to this whole flashing roms section. I appreciate all the help and info that you all have posted as I have read this thread up and down...
That being said- I'm stuck on trying to upgrade from sc 2.9 to 2.9.2. I'm sure its been covered, but when I flash EC10SC292x_DXC.tar using odin it is stuck on the Image section. Did I need to wipe anything before upgrading? I waited 20min unplugged, tried again and now I'm receiving the soft-brick error. Now I've noticed that when I plug in the phone my windows drivers no longer recognize the device. Any help would be great. Thanks

I use the AVG Antivirus software and it has that feature. If you have it, open AVG, press the soft menu button and choose the "Remote" option. From there you can select to show or not show the lock screen message, as well as edit the message itself. I like it. That way if my phone is locked and lost an *honest* person will be able to see my contact info to return it.

I know it's important to do a backup through CWM before loading a new ROM. After backing up and installing the ROM and setting up the phone the way you like it, I'm assuming it's a good idea to do another backup. Yes? No?

I have everything set up how I like it and apps backed up with TiBu and thinking about doing a full backup again so that if I need to restore it for any reason everything will be just like I had it.

The files listed on the first post u dont flash with ODIN. You download them, place on sd card and flash with CWM. Hope that helps!
