Sorry to say, restoring a full backup in CWM is another thing that is not working in it...We have not had any success restoring a nandroid backup of anything much more than the ROM and one patch. Yes, it's supposed to work like that, and used to work for us (long story.) It seems like it has to do with fixing permissions not working in cwm. Until that and a few other things get fixed we are stuck without a fully functional cwm.

I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned (or discovered) this, but it seems that Tapatalk Pro will no longer work with 2.9.2. I came today from 2.5 and Tapatalk throws me a Java error. Can anyone else that uses Tapatalk confirm whether or not it's just me?

Are you running a theme? Im asking because I have been 2.9.2 since wednesday night, and Tapatalk worked fine all that time. I just updated to the most current version of my theme and now I am getting the java error.

I know some people were having trouble receiving text messages but my situation is a little interesting. So i can send/receive text messages from people on the verizon network but not from any other network. I can send out text and they recieve them but i dont get their response. Currently im running sc 2.9.2 voodoo with honeycomb 3.0 theme. Any help would be great. I tried restart, taking the battery out, *228. i have had this setup for the past two days but have just been having this issue this morning.

Issue resolved thanks to Lanshark!!! Had to fix permissions.

XDA still works fine on Tapatalk, so I don't think it is SC.2.9.2 related. However, if anyone has 2.9.1 or lower installed, let us know if the AC forum is working on Tapatalk now in SC 2.9.1 or lower

Relatively Noob, so sorry if this is a "dumb" quesition. I tried to search a little for the answers but came up empty...

I recently rooted (yeah) and am running the closest to stock EB01. I am considering going to the SC2.9.x. I just installed the CWM ALL. I run ADWLauncher (the free one) and am using the y0rk's Blue ADW theme and really like it.

Question is, is anyone using ADWLauncher with sc2.9.x and any of the ADW themes?

btw, I have read a bunch of the different threads and you guys & gals are awesome about helping the noob to the expert. Thanks for all your time and effort!!

Initially ADW broke things in the SC ROM. However, Bing has supposedly been completely removed, so it may be okay now. I personally wouldn't risk it, but would go with Launcher Pro or Go Launcher Ex.

Lovin the 2.9.2...phone's running real smooth..

However, had a weird incident just a few minutes ago...

My phone would dial, but no AUDIO would play over the handset. Also it wouldn't let me select speakerphone from the dialer...My wife said she could hear me, but I couldn't hear anything.. tried youtube, no audio coming out there,...(all volumes were set to max, I checked)

THen I remembered I had plugged my earbuds in at work for a little while.

SO, I replugged them in, dialed my wife again, and could hear the ring tone, and audio through the headphones...unplugged the headphones from the 3.5mm and boom. Evertyhing fixy fixy.... except the first call I made the speakerphone button seemed to get stuck and the green indicator light that it has, wouldn't come on, it just seemed to get stuck in the depressed mode...until the next call which then it worked fine..

Maybe it was just a hardware prob in the jack itself, but have never had this happen prior..

could this be a software bug?

repost...any ideas?

Also my contacts in SMS don't show pictures that show up in contacts (which are peoples fb pics where I have the contacts joined). Didn't know if this was a froyo thing, or a sc 2.9.2 thing..pretty sure they were there for 2.9.1

I get the same error and I am running SC 2.9.1 EC10 VooDoo, and haven't done anything to my phone today... yet.

Tapatalk was working fine until about 5:00pm, since then I have been getting that java error.

Have tried uninstalling, clearing cache, data, etc. - nothing fixes it. Hope it gets a fix soon!

I've been running ADW EX with 2.9.2 since it came out. I've seen way more problems with Launcher Pro than ADW. I'm running a themed ADW as well, using black ice, or blue ice, or something like that.

The headphone thing just seems like an odd software bug to me. If it resolved itself I wouldn't worry about it. Seems like your dialer was having a marital dispute with your headphone jack or something. If it's cleared up I wouldn't worry about it. If it comes back I would flash your Rom again, and look at any audio software you're using, and any odd music mods.

Tested tethering tonight with fascinate, seems theres no drivers to DL.. the fascinate doesnt need them , it takes care of everything and works like a charm.

Nope, not missing anything papa. The radio is another term for your modem. Have a lil gander at Sheepdog Elite's great thread for beginning rooters. It will explain a ton, especially a lot of the terminology. Hope is clears up a few questions and helps some things make more sense:
