Grr I'd hate to go through that whole process again of wiping all data. Ill try re-downloading it again and re-installing it.

I have the CWM red... the 2.5 blah blah blah (too lazy to go into recovery and check) its the lastest one before Orange. All i did was click fix permissions, i did nothing else as far as mounting is concerned.

I'm having a problem with his kernel too. Mine is different from yours my phone force close like crazy and if I plug it in it goes crazy. I did the data wipe but that didn't fix anything the only kernel I can use is it's 0327-2 kernal.

make sure you grab the latest CWM, but I don't think that's the problem. it could be that your phone doesn't like the undervolting. also, are you using setcpu? have you tried other kernels? I would link a few, but I can't seem to get to the xda forums right now.

I didnt upgrade to the lastest CWM cause everyone was saying not to use it to flash Superclean and all the themes and such werent compatible yet. Is that not an issue anymore?

could be the undervolting, i thought about that considering i had no other issues with the original EC10 Voodoo kernel, which was simply amazing on my phone.

im not using setcpu at all. and i havent tried any other kernels cause i heard alot of people were having issues.

Now to reinstall 60+ apps...lol TITBKUP PRO worth its weight in gold!

Using SC2.9.2nv with no theme and I have a problem with my contacts. When I try to add a birthday/anniversary in the contacts app I get a force close every time. Anyone else having this problem?

Just figured I'd post to save some body else looking for it. If you end up "loosing" the backup assistant in add accounts. It still works with setup wizard - so just go through that instead. Thought I'd share - since I was dumb enough to forget.

Mine asks me for backup assistant before it goes to any other type of account. Don't know, man - I always skip it the first time, so maybe it wouldn't do it if I went through it and needed to get back to it.

hmmm I've never once had winamp freeze up, it might be a different issue entirely

I pretty it sure it had to do with me running advanced task killer in which I've removed, which I don't even thinks necessary after de-bloat.

The solution/shortcut around it I came up with, is as follows (kinda a long-cut imo)

Add the birthday's and anniversaries by Editing your contacts in gmail or igoogle on a computer or from the browser on your phone(in desktop mode) ...then when your done adding your info there re-sync your contacts if you don't have it to set to auto-sync in settings---accounts and sync---

No problemo...I'm not sure the genesis of this..I never put in birthday's and anniversaries, most of mine are added through joining my contacts with fb.

If you really wanted to find out, you could flash backwards to sc 2.9 and see if it will let you do it, if so,then you know it's 2.9.2. If not then it may be EB0crap..

Did anyone else loose Google navigation when installing the voodoo kernal that is listed on the first page of this forum? I lost navigation and could not re-download it from the market. After flashing back to a different kernal, navigation reappeared. Strange.

It's always worked for me, except sometimes when it doesn't lol

Another good player for shoucast stations is A Online Radio for some reasons it has stations winamp doesn't have so I use both.

On a side note, I'm in love with Power Amp. I like that it plays files by folder, which none else seem to do. Really handy for techno mix cd's where the artists are all different.

Or I guess mix cd's in general, but what is this, the 80's?

I got the new voodoo kernel installed, but I tried installing 2.9.2 a couple times, and all that resulted in was a bricked phone. I think that it was saying something about line 6 not being able to execute.
