[Retired][ROM]Superclean 2.9.2 EA15/EB01/EB16/EC10 Based

So I've returned to stock. Will flashing this Eb01modem through odin also install the SC 2.9.2 rom again?

uhhh wut? Why'd you go back to stock? I meant for you to read post #12 from the thread to understand how to use ODIN and then flash that file I linked in it. I'm sorry if I wasn't clear. But ok, we can work from here.

No, that won't install SC 2.9.2 again, it's just the modem. To reinstall SC you need to flash this file EC10SC292x_DXC.tar

Lol, I forgot to mention, I just decided to return to stock because I tried to flash a modem that I thought was the right one through odin, but then it failed or something, so I just odined to stock.

Thank you kind sir, I'm not gonna be able to do this now, but I'll probably get it done tomorrow and update you on how it went. I do greatly appreciate this, sir.

You're very welcome, keep me posted on how it all went whenever you get it done.

Issues with 2.92 Voodoo

Installed the Voodoo kernel, filesystem convert. Brand new phone (in laws phone). Super fast. Randomly reboots to a garbled up screen, then when you reboot it refuses to boot up properly. It just freezes. It did once and was fine for awhile, but it just did it again.

I followed perfectly all the instructions, running the same exact versions as my phone (same setup) no crashes, nothing. Works great.

My brother used a SD card from her old phone; which was 2GB. Now, I did: Super Clean version 2.9.2 - EB01/EC10 Froyo leak root+Froyo Clockworkmod with MALWARE protection THIS VERSION DOES NOT WIPE DATA
This DID wipe data, by the way. Was not thrilled by that!!!
*edit: I realized the internal memory was showing up as 0GB, so ti didn't delete anything - it just couldn't read it. I installed the voodo superclean and it works great. However, still need to figure otu why it's crashing.
And now I'm about to flash:
Voodoo
super_frankenclean_2_9_2v.zip

Suggestions?

You are going to need to flash/ odin the version that wipes data. You can't get rid of the entire eclair rom until you flash the version that wipes. Once you have sc/froyo properly installed you can use the non wipe versions to install updates to sc.

Can you tell us what cwm u have? U said something about voodoo kernal at the beginning, Which one?

Then your post says this..."My brother used a SD card from her old phone; which was 2GB. Now, I did: Super Clean version 2.9.2 - EB01/EC10 Froyo leak root+Froyo Clockworkmod with MALWARE protection THIS VERSION DOES NOT WIPE DATA"
If you pulled this from the ODIN sticky its not voodoo.
Not to mention this warning..."WARNING: NO DATA WIPE MAY CAUSE FC IF COMING FROM ECLAIR, FULL WIPE IS RECOMMENDED"

Not sure exacty what u have going on...

The 0 GB of internal memory is a classic sign of flashing a nonvoodoo kernel over a voodoo kernel without disabling lag fix. Did you flag a voodoo kernel or rom before using the 2.9.2?

Good news is you didn't panic & reflashed a voodoo kernel

It does!... Not very well and it took about 15 minutes for me, but it does. I messed up and realized it right as i rebooted and was all "Son of a (Select choice of politically correct term here)." Lots of Force Closes and a battery pull later, odin flash and up and running in no time.

SC 2.92 boots into safe mode

it hard locked in messaging then after pulling the battery it reboots into safe mode.

any ideas?

Question: A few days ago I rooted and flashed for the first time without any problems. I flashed SC 2.9.2nv and it has been running great ever since. I have also successfully flashed a theme since then without any issues. However, I attempted to flash another theme and got several fc's after reboot. I restored my backup I created prior to the flash and everything is running great again. I then began to try and find out what went wrong and noticed that my baseband and build are different.

Baseband is ea28 & Build is eb01

Thought they should both be eb01?
So, is this something I should worry about or leave it alone since I am having no problems? If it does need corrected, is it just a matter of flashing the eb01 kernel through cwm?

Thanks very much for any guidance with this.

Edit: disregsrd, figured it out. Just used odin to flash eb01 radio. All is fine.
