Rezound battery fits the ThunderBolt for $19.99

I went to three different stores looking for the battery, I hate waiting when I really want something. Not a single one had one in stock. Finally at the third store they offered to order it for me. They were even nice enough to not go through my account so I could avoid the 25% off and get the 50% off. It comes in today, I can't wait.

I placed the order online for the TB charger, and three Rezound std. batteries early Fri. 12/2, and the online order status still shows "being processed - check back tomorrow'. The total was $10.75 incl. tax. I have sent two seperate inquiry emails to internet customer service, but have had no response. Frustrating to say the least.

Got my Rezound battery yesterday. Put it in the Tbolt and charged it all day. So far, it has been on battery for 13 hours with a solid 1h of active use and it just ticked down the first notch on the icon. I'm rooted and debloated but still running stock 605.5 ROM. I have been able to eek out 26h with 1h of activity on the stock battery so we will see how long this lasts, but it looks very promising so far. My activity is lots of texting, a couple of short phone calls and some data use (FB, maps and navi, minor internet use). On 4G solid since in NYC (although on and off to 3G in the last 24 hours... VZW?) and no WiFi.

got battery in yesterday , placed in phone had 44% battery, took it down to 26% till i plugged in. will do a battery calibrate and unplug and let the good times roll. i did notice the charge time is a lot longer so far.
plugged in at about 9:30pm, got up at 12:30am and it was still 70% charging.

I must be in the minority here. I'm really seeing no difference in battery life compared to the stock battery and I've had enough full charge cycles now to judge. It takes this one almost an hour longer to get to full charge (will go from 60 to 100 % seemingly instantly) but then I ge the same usage and standy time as before. Odd.

got mine yesterday. and when you finally get it, it will be $100. it was a system glitch. call vzw and they might be able to assist.

Did this actually happen to you? I have no problem if Verizon cancels my order, I wouldn't make a peep. Charging my card for 10X the amount I agreed to? Someone is getting an earful...

well, they adjusted my order so it is what it was. and the battery? so far is simply amazing...

i can keep charged batteries 'at the ready' and since the charger is usb based, also can be charged anywhere...

For those using more than 1 battery, how often are you switching the batteries? I've ordered a second Rezound battery and the $5 charger so I won't have to go with the extended anymore.

I plan to switch the batteries each week to cycle them and if needed will carry the extra with me. But I don't want to damage the battery cover taking it off and on frequently.

what case do you guys have for you phones?

i have the Otterbox Defender and couldn't see constantly removing it to change out the battery.

i've probably only took it off > 10 times and it doesn't seem so sturdy.

Been using mine for a few days now. Definitely an improvement, although not overly dramatic. But, at 19 bucks, a worthwhile purchase.

Last night I got over 11 hours of off charger time, and over 5 hours of awake time, thats after un-rooting from about 95%...it makes a difference for sure!

I typically swap batteries once a day with the standard batteries and 2-3 when using the extended. Been doing so since getting the phone back in April and haven't had any problems with the battery doors. They come off a little easier now than when new, but they still fit securely on the phone without issue. I think the key is to be careful with the covers. I always put the phone face down on top of a clean paper towel (to protect the screen) on a sturdy surface, then grasp the top slot of the battery door with my middle finger and my thumb near the 4G LTE symbol on the bottom (for leverage) and pull the cover up top first. Another trick is to put the phone in one hand and use the other to pull the battery cover up with your middle finger on the top cover and the bottom of your palm around the 4G LTE symbol. Either way, once you get proficient at it, they come off easily with little wear and tear.

Ordered Rezound battery, Installed.

Yesterday got about 18 hours, on 3G, unrooted. Previous battery would maybe to 8 to 10. I'm not sure what magical pixie dust is in this Rezound battery, but I blame the red-ness.

Finally can make it through a day without charging twice!

Similar experience here....Rezound Red is my new favorite color.

Very hard to believe. The difference has been so vastly obvious for me, that I figure either the tbolt battery is overrated, or the rezound battery is underrated. Night and day difference, not 15% or less, thats for sure.

Same here, the rezound battery is almost as good as the Thunderbolt's 2750mah extended battery for me. It's been awesome.
