Rezound battery fits the ThunderBolt for $19.99

Okay...first run was 14 hours with mod to heavy use. Discharged completely and am charging again as I type. Definite improvement and well worth a 20 spot. I have noticed that Get Jar is a really battery vampire. Will just install it once a week for freebies. Same with Amazon. Track that on the net. So far so good. More later.

Battery life was horrible the first 2 charges, the battery graph was never steady, just kept dying. I'm not sure if it's charging to 100% is there a way to see if it can charge completely.

Did you calibrate? It still might be usin the stats of your old battery

Yeah I calibrated it. I restarted it at 52 and ended with 32, which means that it can't have been calibrated. I think I'll deleted the battery stats and try to charge it again, I feel that it thought it was fully charged before it actually was

Anyway to calibrate the battery on a non-rooted T-bolt?

I have no idea other than the general advice to train the battery by charging it then running it out the first few charges. My second run is finishing as I type...just under 20 hours with mod to some heavy usage.

This new rezound battery still misreading the battery thinking it still has the thunderbolt battery in after atleast 7 full drain cycles.

Other than the 1620mAh batteries taking a little longer to charge and a bit longer to come off 100% charge, I haven't had any issues with the two I've been using in the Thunderbolt. I average about 6-8 hours more uptime overall than the Thunderbolt 1400mAh standard batteries. Not sure if it makes a difference, but all my batteries are charged via an external charger (Seidio Multi-function battery charger) never the phone itself and the phone is frequently power cycled to swap out for a new battery. Wonder if that allows the phone to calibrate itself better as I've never had an issue with any of my batteries (two - 1400's, two - 1620's and one 2750 extended).

It's not acting well in my phone. Once it charges to 60% it almost instantly spikes to 100%. When I hit 70% my battery graph essentially just drops. Really fast.

Help Please, I have been using the Rezound battery for a few days now and am LOVING the extra battery time without having to use my extended battery, My question is during use my phone feels warm (not hot) when I checked my battery monitor it says my battery was 36.9 celcius, this was after playing on the internet and checking apps for about 15 minutes, I was just wondering if this is a normal result for other people. and if I should be concerned about this temperature? Otherwise I LOVE the rezound battery but if it is hurting my phone I guess I will have to go back to the extended battery..Any help is greatly appreciated!

My phone has always gotten warm with extensive use. When using 4G a lot, it would get almost hot. I'm sure it is fine, I wouldn't worry about it.

I just looked at my Battery Monitor a little closer and mine is doing the same thing. I think the problem is with the software, not the phone or battery. It thinks you have the 2750mah extended battery in and so when it hits what it thinks is 70% on the 2750, it jumps to 100% on the rezound battery. On a stock phone, the phone's battery status works fine. I've run it down to 10% battery left and it's been fine. Maybe battery monitor will come out with an update that supports the rezound battery.

Definitely sounds like a software issue with Battery Monitor as the HTC Battery widget (have to download via Personalize, Widget, Get more HTC widgets) and the built-in battery status (Menu, Settings, About Phone, Battery) have always indicated normal battery status for me when using the Rezound 1620mAh batteries.

lets just say i am now on 2 days worth of battery use. unplugged from charger on friday at about 1pm. still have 29% left AMAZING!!!

This is the battery that should have come with the thunderbolt in the first place. I love it!

I seemed to have fixed it. I charged it from 0-100 while it was off
charged again after tuning it on to green, then cleared stats. I've been on for 21 hours and still have 30% left on the first use since. I need it to get to 0 before I go to sleep for a full cycle, trying not to kill it on purpose like I did the first time, which resulted in problems.

3rd charge gave me 24 hours moderate use. On 4th full discharge/charge now. In case anyone is skeptical, don't be.

2days 7hrs 12% when i plugged in.

I just hit 40 hours with 32% left (light use, approx. 1 hour on time). This is the best usage yet I've gotten with these 1620mAh batteries (have two). Previously was getting about 35 hours. They really appear to be hitting their stride after numerous charge/discharge cycles.
