Rezound vs Galaxy Nexus

Took everyones advice and here I am a new proud rezound owner. Now I have some questions not sure if I should post them here but I'm sure someone will tell me that they don't belong here.

Being that I am a New droid user I guess I got to play around with ICS and now have sense and was able to customize my phone a little different with the nexus, but being that I don't really know the difference in these UI's I need some help again.
I was able to set different ringtones and notifications for SMS and my different e-mail accounts. If I'm not mistaken here on the rezound all your e-mail accounts have to have the same sound is that correct.
Second issue for me is at night i would manually turn off my e-mail notification sounds in settings and leave on my sms and phone. Not sure how to do this now on the rezound.I don't see a silent option in these notifications. Lastly I was able to customize the font size to very large on the nexus I can't find the setting for font size on the phone at all.
Any help would be so appreciated

TIA

Congrats on the new phone.

Since Apple - a truly butthurt bunch declared its victory against HTC last month in the court that HTC products or supply will cease starting this year. So, I was kind of wondering how will that affect us all? I mean when it comes down to replacing a broken phone or that it needs a replacement due to a technical issue. Will we be able to do if the production is to be cease in productions and supply these phones all over the stores in this stateside?

"In addition, the Commission has determined, based on consideration of the effect of exclusion on United States consumers, that until December 19, 2013, HTC may import refurbished handsets to be provided to consumers as replacements under warranty or an insurance contract (whether the warranty or contract is offered by HTC, a carrier, or by a third party)."

Wow this back and forth is still going. I'm here to put an end to it. This is the Rezound forum, so here, it is clearly the better phone. It's an undisputed fact. Major issues are basically limited to "fingerprints on the screen".

Don't believe me? Just head over to the Verizon Galaxy Nexus forum. Where you can find many threads on signal issues, low volume complaints and people disappointed with the camera - with common replies (fixes) being "it's a developer phone" and "it will be the most updated phone". You may find a few "returned for [insert phone here] phone" sprinkled in. So clearly, over there, the GN reigns king.

I say who cares?
JUST ENJOY THE DEVICE YOU CHOSE.
This bickering is just getting so ridiculous....I wish threads like this would close because after two pages it's like an ex wife....you are never going to see eye to eye so move on.

I'm with you man. I think these threads are useful at first, they really can help someone make a more informed decision, but after a while they run there course. When people start clashing over opinions and deriving from text meanings that aren't there, the usefulness is lost and nobody is going to buy a phone based off the bickering.

Interesting, your suprised it's still ongoing. PYet, what you stated in the above post is the exact reason peeps are still bickering about all this. You didn't douse the flames in that post, you actually, just fanned the flames a lil bit.

You just proved my point. It was sarcasm. A joke. Not to be taken seriously.

I tell you what, when I traded my rezound for nexus I fell to the ground and thanked the lord for a real volume and power button cause the rezound buttons are the worst I have every encountered! They were annoying as hell! I'll take the buttons on my first Nokia phone! No other real complaints I ordered the rezound so I played with both phones for 4 days and nexus won me over

Just my 2 cents

That is one thing I did like about the G Nex...and I dont like about the Rezound. I also prefer the way its setup on the G Nex compared to my RAZR.

Was? Or wasn't? Either way, I put [/sarcasm] at the end of the post, removing all doubt...I thought. :)

You got me, actually, I was so dumbfounded by sentences 1&2 that I stopped reading the rest. Never got to the the punchline-> [/sarcasm].

For different ringtones for text message I use a third party app. Go SMS or Handcent allow you to set different ringtones for contacts. Don't know how to set different ringtones for different email accounts. You can turn off notification sounds for email by going into Settings->Accounts & sync ->Mail -> Account settings -> notification settings.

Thank you will try those tips. Still looking for a way to increase the system wide font size those right now that make be a deal breaker for me and this phone. Would liketo have different notifications for different email accounts though. I hate to say it but the nexus did have seperate ring tones for different email accounts and did have the ability to change the fonts
