RIP my nexus one

i'm so depressed, my nexus one was washed. I had hopes of my insurance to replace it but no!? they are sending me a Samsung Vibrant I heard it is good does anyone know if its better then the nexus one? I love my nexus one and I dont want to replace it for anything thats not better :/ thanks

It is supposed to be better, however if you're a big N1 fan I would sell the Vibrant and pick up the G2 in 2 weeks. It's basically a faster N1 with a keyboard and more internal storage. Added bonus is no Touchwiz on the G2.

You may like it. I had the galaxy for a couple of weeks but returned it. However it is a decent phone. The screen is bigger than it is on nexus one, which you will probably like.

Oh no, why would they send you vibrant? Vibrant isn't bad at all. I prefer nexus one. I liked liight weight and screen of vibrant but that's pretty much what I liked . Sorry to hear your lose...

I recomend calling HTC and seeing how much a repair would be.

I just Dropped my Nexus 1 on a evil rock, and after replacing the Digatizer myself, a few weeks later, another drop caused the inside screen to go dark... grrr..

Anyway, looking online LCD's seemed to run around $170ish, and HTC replaced (refurb unit.. YAY no more battle damage) it for about $150. And the whole process was really easy!

So if you can get a Vibrant, and they let you keep the Nexus 1, Call HTC and get your baby fixed, and sell the Vibrant! there really is no downside to this plan!
