Just got back from a recent trip to Colombia, as I got off the airplane I slipped in my "comicel" GSM card and I was off and running with no problems!!!
The next day after arrival I went to the Comicel Store and purchased "unlimited" internet for a week. Got message back that I had 700 megabyte to use.
The guy after adding the internet package for 20 dollars; did configure the internet and added in an address and I was up and running! Bogota has 3g so the pages loaded fast just like in Sprints network in the states. I wish it were hardware unlocked so I could put a local AT&T sim card into the phone. I did this with the BB 9930 after purchasing an unlock code and the AT&T sim card worked fine on 9930 but not the "Photon"
